Last year Mervyn was asked to make a parking space in a garden on a corner slope. The first job was to clear the site, which included an enormous Leylandii (not our favourite hedging plants, especially their huge invasive roots). You may remember our blog when Steve Allen helped us out. Now spring is here, the planting around the car space is in full bloom and a parking space at road level. Here are the Before and After shots taken from the road.
Parking space with planting
This customer bought a 19th century cottage which had decades and decades of soil backfilled in the garden, which had breached the house damp course. The first job was to clear the site of an old shed and a row of Leylandii – the curse of small spaces. The Leylandii roots are still there. Steve Allen from www.allengroundcare.co.uk stepped in to grind out the roots.
